Honor Your Body

1 Corinthians 6:19-20 says: “Do you not know that your bodies are temples of the Holy Spirit, who is in you, whom you have received from God? You are not your own; you have been bought at a price. Therefore, honor your God with your body.”
God does so much for you. He created this beautiful world and even went as far as sending His only Son to die for your sins. Yes, the very same sins that the bible compares to filthy rags (Is. 64:6). Let’s break it down a little more.
Your body is a temple of the Holy Spirit. The Holy Spirit is given to you as part of the gift of Jesus and the forgiveness of sins. This is not to be taken advantage of, thinking we can sin just because it is what everyone else is doing knowing there’s forgiveness when you want to change paths. Yeah, not quite. That’s not honoring your body, that’s honoring the world with a stereotypical Christian mask. Honoring your body is hard. It’s doing what you need to do when you don’t want to do it. Maybe, just maybe, it is going to the gym while everyone else is partying. No, it’s not an amazing glorious ride while everyone else is seeming to have the time of their lives, but in the end look what you receive. You receive an eternity of happiness. It’s called HEAVEN. For eternity.

So, you can honor your body spiritually by taking care of it and worshiping the Lord and making sacrifices for him. Above, it was revealed that some will develop a callus to sin, using their faith as a backup instead of a regularly used tool for life. Working out also develops calluses. When they get to thick, most of the time they’ll rip open. If you develop a callus to sin and avoid it for too long the truth will come out. It’s going to rip open. Mute® Sports Equipment offers a callus grinder. Generally, athletes will use it two or three times a week to shave off the excess skin, eliminating the chances of having an unwanted tear. God offers one too. It’s called forgiveness, except it’s meant to be used two or three times a second. All it takes is a simple prayer asking God to “shave off some sin” so we don’t bust open, leaving behind some regret. Because trust me, when you rip open a calus it’s almost never painless.

Honor your body. Don’t let your sin build up, rely on God. Don’t let your skin build up, rely on Mute’s calus grinder. Both of these tools are right at your finger tips!!! Both links are below.
